Hairy Cats Ear Hairy Cat's Ear can be eaten raw or cooked, the roots need to be cooked. Part of the Aster family
English Daisy English Daisy- flowers and leaves edible.
chickweed Chickweed. Always try to pick fresh, unbrown leaves
mallow Mallow. Can eat all parts of plant. Helps to knit bones.
Shepherd's Purse Shepherd's Purse. Roots taste like ginger. Leaves edible
thistles Thistles. Can eat it all, roots and leaves. Remove thistles first.
plantain Plantain. The regular plantain tastes nicer than this one
oxeyed daisy Oxeyed Daisy..can eat the whole thing. Leaves have a sweet, tarragon flavour
sheep sorrel Sheep Sorrel..green and red, can grow up to 4" long, there is a "y" at the base of the leaves. Roots are used as anti-cancer treatment by herbalists.
dock Dock is best when leaves are young and tender. Juice from dock leaves will ease the burn of stinging nettles.
blackberry Blackberry -new leaf buds from blackberry bushes- a wonderful tonic- on the bitter side.
wild carrot Wild carrot or Queen Anne's Lace..can tell apart from yarrow or water hemlock by the strong carroty smell. Leaves and roots edible raw or cooked
